How to Apply

Upper School

Sanford is that school where all three of my children have grown academically, culturally, socially and in other ways we never expected. The small class sizes and close relationships with teachers allow my children to be the best students they can be.

We look forward to meeting you and your family!

A school tour is a great way for the whole family to get a feel for the Sanford experience. During the tour you will have the opportunity to explore our beautiful campus, meet our teachers, and see our students in action.

Personal tours available by appointment for all grade levels. Please contact admission@sanfordschool.org or call 302-235-6503.

Rolling Decisions

While Sanford offers rolling admission, our ninth and tenth grades are in high demand each year. Families are strongly encouraged to complete the application process by Monday, January 6, 2025

Admission decisions are made on a rolling basis once the Admission Committee has reviewed the candidate's complete admission file.

Families seeking financial assistance should apply for admission and financial aid at the same time.

Families are asked to reply to an offer of admission by the date specified on the enrollment agreement.
