Sanford Wrestler Earns State Title
Sanford senior Timmy Griffith became the Warriors' newest wrestling champion on Saturday, February 25th, at the DIAA state championship.
Timmy took the top spot in the 152-pound weight class.
Four other Sanford wrestlers earned podium positions during the competition. Luke McDonough was second in the 145-pound weight class; Kyle McDonough was third in the 132-pound weight class; Andrew Brooks placed fourth in the160-pound weight class; and, Trent Wall was sixth in the 120-pound weight class.
