11. Pirnie Hall (STEM Lab & Administrative Offices)

Opened in 1962 as a boys’ dormitory, Pirnie Hall was later used for faculty housing. Named in honor of Jean and Donald Pirnie, who both taught at Sanford for 15 years, Pirnie Hall was re-dedicated in 2008.
In 2015, following the completion of the Front & Center campaign, Pirnie Hall was renovated to incorporate a new STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Lab. The facility also houses the Information Technology department.
